TCSS offers thick walled colored poly tube now. there is a thread on the forums you should check out for exactly what you are asking. I have a green, blue, and red. the green and blue are are pretty transparent. the red is more opaque and lets less light through but looks decent enough. the only one Ive lit is the green. and it lets out more of the led color. Id like to try the blue tube with a red LED but havent built the blade to try it yet. Ill post it once I get some more diffuser film and a tip w/ reflector

Hmmmm, I was wondering about those... there are 2 greens, sort a "regular" green and one that looks more yellow-ish... a "safety" green I believe. I was thinking about trying one or the other (or maybe trying both) with my green Luxeon III's. And... after 4 years of working on Jedi costumes, I am finally working on my own saber build .... I've always wanted to but never thought I could pull it off. My "bare bones" hilt is assembled, and I love it. It is lighter than my 2 trooping sabers and it almost feels like a stunt saber, even with batteries and stuff in the hilt to mimic the weight of electronics. I still love my others, but this one is a dream to swing and spin. But back on topic... please show us your blade pictures when you have them!
