I'm starting this thread for those looking for help with adding blade effects to their pictures. There are a number of members who have offered to "rotoscope" (not always the correct term, but I'll use it here because it seems to be the word everyone has adopted for the process) lightsaber blades as a courtesy to anyone who needs it for their TJA picture. Here is list of active message board members who have offered this service. If you would like me to add your name to this list, just let me know. I can rotoscope film and pictures. If you want one done, send me a PM, let me snag up a picture of mine.  I really didn't like the way that one came out, but I can still do it pretty well...(especially since I was experimenting on how to do it in that picture) |

I'm quite happy with the results. I met Primrodo at CIII and we'd been chatting online for a while before that. When I needed some rotoscoping done, I figured he'd be the person to talk to.
As far as the color goes, I sorta left that up to him a little. I wanted something that would be fitting for an ancient Sith saber. Either the traditional red, a sun-like amber or even some sort of magenta or purple. I think that that this color seems to compliment the brass of the hilt.
