Don't think I'd be able to find the pattern...though, It'd probably work with just a long collared overcoat. At least that's what they suggested here www.viewaskew.com/halloween/

I used to costume a LOT when I was younger -- especially in college and in my 20's -- although it was mostly put together from ready-made or thrift shop stuff with fabric or accessories added. It was usually for a one-time event or a play or something, so it was primarily for "effect". However I did do a fast Trek tunic for D*C for my friend who attended with me. Thanks, Xana, for directing me to the Trek sites! Yes, that's my brown Jedi tunic underneath!

My basic white 'Leia' outfit doubles as an 'Elven princess' Lord-of-the-Rings' style outfit, if I add a different belt and a home-made beaded headpiece... I wore this for a LOTR promotion at work! (These two pics were taken 4 years ago... I have since lost my long hair to chemotherapy, but it's growing back again now!) My 'Space Magenta' outfit for The Rocky Horror Show (taken around 5 years ago) The gauntlets were sparkly silver and black gloves with 'sleeves' made from brown paper covered with sticky-backed plastic, and the gold outfit is actually based around a large white Tshirt with over-fabric sewed to it! (The tattoo is NOT real, btw! ;D ) : The complete outfit is below... Look away now if of a nervous disposition! LOL!! ;D OK, you've been warned!! I'm with my two brothers - we're all Rocky Horror fans, and were off to see the show... ;D The basic white outfit again...with wings and halo added! (Taken 3 years ago. I wore this at work Christmas week): And a witch at Halloween - I also wore this to work, three years ago:
