As art, I think it is extremely beautiful...as a lightsaber, a humble jedi weapon, it it a little impractical.

depends on the culture behind each jedi's backround, some are more ornate than others, whilst wookie sabres for examble look tribal

Definately a beautiful piece. Although as a practical lightsaber it looks too much like a work of art.

I agree with those who say it is a beautiful piece of art, but I don't like it at all as a lightsaber. It look more like a religious item then a noble and humble weapon.
