Hello fellow Jedi... Here is my current collection as of a couple months ago... I have several MR FX's too, but they're not in the pic. My favorite being my Old Ben made of all real parts...(Emitter is not screen accurate, but it is a real Derwent engine flow pipe).I have the real handwheel, just waiting on a booster/gear to finish it off. (again) I have added a few more pieces and will post when I can. Displayed on a custom saber rack...well uh, ok, It's a wine rack from Cost Plus Feel free to post any question you might have... These are my customs...Some are made from flashguns...sink tubes or whatever I could find that would work Enjoy!

Truly awesome collection - quite a few in particular caught my eye; that old ben is excellent, and the Luke V2 stood out, looks perfect. You should be very proud, and don't you ever dare sell any... unless of course you're selling 'em to me ;D

I recognize one of your custom sabers from this years custome saber competition... In the second picture, it is the second from the right. If I recall, it was inspired by 20'000 Leagues under the Sea?

I and message board memeber Uendo are interested in the 3rd saber in the 4th image (counting the pic of the Old Ben hilt) . Its the one that resimbols a katana hilt. Could you give up some information on how you constructed it, or possibly a tutorial? Thanks alot. Plus I counted all the sabers I could see in the second pic. 56 hilts ladies and gentelmen!

Well now...that one is really the simplest that I've ever done... I made it from a plant sprayer...found in the garden section of the hardware store...it was the black handle as you see it...with what I used as the emitter pushed down as you would see a hand guard on a foil. It then had a tube coming up about 2 feet and then curved, with a shower kind of end on it. Like a watering can would have... I also found a copper piece in the pipe section and 2 of those chromed shower handle shields put together and taped with chrome tape. I worked the grip down as far as I could to snug it against the brass fitting (to the hose) which was the pommel. I found a plastic cap which fit the end of the brass piece. I had a spare knob from an old flashgun that I tapped into the pipe and added through the rubber grip. I just sawed off the extra tube length after test fitting everything on the handle. Yep, That's the one The lever even moves...I like to think that, that one works on steam...focusing energy through the crystal...or something Again...it was just made from hardware store parts...I went looking for all brass items and went from there... Brass pipe, brass washers, thick wire, knobs etc... The crystal was made by tearing apart a clear green superball... It really is a fantastic saber, I'd certainly have rather it won over the ones that were placed. Out of curiousity, what was the tyre used for? Was the lower grip section not some kind of wood veneers? Would I be right in thinking that the outer section of the emitter was the brass washers and wire drilled and soldered together? It looks fantastic [Edit to fix quote]

Thanks I appreciate that... The grips are in fact a wood veneer...I want to upgrade them one of these days to real wood...They're starting to split here and there when I twirl it... In fact they inspired the whole saber... To be precise...they were the rolltop to an old A-drive floppy disk box...I was trashing the box one day and noticed they looked like they;ed make good grips...wood and brass etc...and off I went. I was really going for a victorian saber when Luuke announced the theme for the contest...it fit, so I went with it I'm sorry, I don't understand what a "tyre" is? Oh and the emitter is just press fit...no solder needed Bill It really is a fantastic saber, I'd certainly have rather it won over the ones that were placed. Out of curiousity, what was the tyre used for? Was the lower grip section not some kind of wood veneers? Would I be right in thinking that the outer section of the emitter was the brass washers and wire drilled and soldered together? It looks fantastic [Edit to fix quote]

Awesome collection there! You have any other pictures of the blaster in the center of the bottom rack (the one with the darker grips)?
