Have Logan's Run on DVD--saw that when i was young. Yeah, I'm that old. Reember the TV series too. same for Planet of the Apes TV series and saw all the films.
V for Vendetta was good--finally got the DVD for Bill for Christmas.
Talking films--anyone see 300? It made $70 Million. I was at a writer's conference this past weekend-Epic-Con.

A friend told me 300 was all testosterone. A total guy movie... complete with babes and all.

A total guy movie... complete with babes and all. and you would be right leda it is all battle and guys butting heads well there was one scene that rocked, was when the politician that literally screwed the queen, and saying he would help her get the council to send reinforcements to her husband. well he betrayed her and was being a general piece of crud......well she got pissed and stabbed him in the stomach, which made him reveal a dirty little secret......but it was just cool that the queen stabbed him for his treachery.......my mom and i did the whole arm pump, and yelling "YEAH" when she did that, it was awesome. other than that i couldnt stand the movie, it bored me |

NOOOO! *hides eyes* That movie would have been perfect if only he hadn't sung, the composite work was better, and he wasn't dressed so ridiculously.  I got asked out on a date (gasp! For the first time in my life) and none of the movies in the theater right now look good. The only one I'm even remotely interested in is Bridge to Terabithia. Any suggestions? What's a good date movie? |

SUitable movies UCJ? Hmm. Not too sure.The ones my boyfirend likes I generally don't. We'e differant movie tastes."Bridge To tarabithia" is a kind of kiddie movie based on the book. I'd like to seeit. However my Boyfriend doesn't. The book made 'em cry, good bet the movie would too. It looks fun. 'The last Mimszy", <shrug> looks cute, I'd see it. I don't know about "ROcky Balboa". Or the007 one. Parts of it I didn't like.  The 300, ehh, it is fair. They could've done MUCH better writting. |
