I saw Pan's Labyrinth yesterday. It wasn't what I expected. And, it's in Spanish. lol! I feel so cultured-- I saw a foreign film and read sub-titles.  I thought it would be a cool fantasy film. There was fantasy in it, but many scenes were bloody and brutal. Yik. Just an FYI if anyone ventures out to see it. My eyes were closed for 1/4 of it. |

 I thought that was a bit spooky for me after I saw the trailer and saw a couple of the creatures in the movie magazines.Knowing me I would probably would have nightmares

I hate bloody movies. I couldn't watch Gladiator, and Black Hawk Down made me feel sick.
Oddly enough, I'm a huge CSI fan. Go figure.

Just discovered they decided to relase Seraphim Falls in Wide instead of limitedWOOHOO! I desperately need a Liam fix AN EARLY Birthday present to me!!!!

Saw it yesterday, Liam was yummy as usual.
Also saw Primeval, so BAD it was funny, I really howled, but I didn't pay for it.

LOL I loved Pan's Labriyth, but i knew about the blood part and the creepiness, though the eyes in hands creature didn't bother me. The bloody or violent parts, mainly by the bad guy/stepfather of the girl got to me, but not as much of this as one would think. But very well done. Tomorrow night Bill and I go to see Blood and Chocolate. I have the YA book and will see if the filmmakers ruin it. Done by those who did Underworld, but this book is not Underworld. has werewolves, my fave supernatural creatures.

Its not like the book at all.... if you go seeing it expecting the book you'll be disapointed.
