Hmmm...recent flicks I've seen are: Spidey 3 - I enjoyed the first 2 more, but was still very entertaining. Fantastic Four - Was ok, but I think I actually enjoyed the first one a bit more. Transformers - Rocked! Much better than I expected. Animation was amazing! Harry Potter - Also excellent. I think one of the best of the series. I definitely recommend reading the books to get the most out of the movies, though. Some things are difficult to understand without the complete back-story they provide in the books. Hot Fuzz - Lots of fun if you're into this type of humor. I am Bourne Ultimatum - DEFINITELY my favorite of the year so far. This movie was incredible. Smart, funny, exciting action, everything. Still a LOT different than the books, but very good movie. Didn't care to see Simpsons, I figure it's pretty much like the TV show. Funny, but not at $9.00 to see it. All-in-all a pretty good year for movies I like.

Simpsons was like an episode that was way too long. It was funny, but I can only take 30 minutes! People loved it though... the theater filled with applause at the end!

Things I could see for free, but wasn't interested, Simpsons, Halloween, Grindhouse, 1 I do recommend tho' is "Stardust" DeNiro steals it in one scene, but the whole thing is good, a really well written story, well done with a really solid cast. Harry Potter, better the 2nd time.

I saw "Enchanted" last week while on vacation. Bleh! I like upbeat, nonviolent, escapist films but this was tooooo sugary even for me!
I rented George and the Dragon (2004 with Patrick Swayze badly acting the bad guy) from Netflix. Another bleh. Could only take 15 minutes and booted it out of the player and sent it back!
My Netflix queue has been filled with past seasons of "Bones" from TV. Definitely not for the squeemish. Odd that I don't like live action violence but I can take the guts and gore of dead bodies that are briefly shown. The stories are strong. I especially like that the science is not dummied down (it's about a forensic anthropologist, her team and an FBI detective).
