As you may know, I've decided to do a 'Battle of the Heros' themed painting for an art competition, which has required me to make sabers like Anakin's and Obi-Wan's. Naturally, I was not going to shell out for a proper Graflex unit for what might wind up getting completely ruined, so instead, I decided to make my own from some assorted stainless steel pipes I had knocking about. I used four different diameters (although the 3rd pipe was purely for bulk rather than appearance, unlike pipes 1,2 and 4) I can't do any more now till I order a conversion kit to complete it, but after about five hours (on and off) work, this is what I've come up with... Thanks, I'm pretty pleased with how it's turned out Hey tanzan can you send me a tutorial on how you made that.It looks great Certainly, although some of the piping I used was stuff my fiance salvaged from work, the basic shaping, I can talk you through with no problem, but the actually tiny detail of the inner emitter might be impossible to recreate. I'll write up something that should come close though Thanks
