Anyone make blueprints of their sabers and props? I mean printed, quality looking versions like with the Master Replica sabers.
If so, any tips?
Thanks, TND

No, I haven't done blueprints. Are you talking about construction, or wiring details for the insides?

I've designed a few but never made the actual blueprints... in fact I still have the programs and could design some for anyone if they asked me

MR Blueprints are nowhere near complete or accurate. Take a good look and you'll see a lot of measurements missing. This is not an oversight but done deliberately so that others can not use their blueprints to make a replica.
Most fans don't make blueprints for their custom sabers becasue its made up along the way and do not require a blueprint. And to go back and draw a blueprint after its done would be a total killjoy. If they commissioned someone else to make their saber (like randonsaber) they probably won't want to make their blueprint public for fear someone will make one exactly like theirs.
Others who do have blueprint drawn up are those who're making it for sale, in which case they won't share their blurprints either or else people will just use it to make their own instead of buying from them.
You can find loads of blueprints on existing sabers from the movies online, but hardly any blueprint of custom sabers.

Laan, Have you translaited the basic text?

Mynn, Yes, I did. Actually, I typed it in English and then converted it. Every line actually means something: scripture verses, political ideals, and even jokes.

Sounds interesting Laan. Can you email a copy to me at Jauhzmynn@yahoo.com please?
Is your basic font a true type font?

Laan, that's a great picture, how many pages are in there?

Mynn, Sure, let me find it on my computer at home and I'll send it to you, and yes, the font is a true type. Thanks, Don Solo; the "book" is just a book with those two pages inserted. I think I have three pages in all, counting the two that are loose.
