I just checked out the RMC web site. Those are some very nice looking sabers at very cheap prices. Makes me wonder--what's the catch?

I know, expecially the replicas stuff. not to mention the belt pouches, the comlinks, food capsules, and other stuff.

I'm tempted to purchase a saber but $50.00 makes for some nice X-Mas gifts here at home and if they turn out to be junk I would be a very unhappy Jedi.

Me too. I really like the look of there darth Vader saber. Have you checked out the blasters? I mean 55 dollars for a storm trooper rifle compared the 500 dollar MR's, thats a deal.

They look a little dodgy... they are great for custom jobs, but I don't think they are really up to a high enough quality to sell, save for a select few.
And they charge $5 for image rotoscoping! How can you charge for that, a perfect roto job on a single image takes less than 5 minutes. That doesnt seem like good business ethics to me!
EDIT: I will say that the blasters look alright for wood and mould jobs. Probably dont feel very good considering what theyre made of, though.

I can tell most of these are probably hard ware sabers but some are quite nice.
