All you hardware hiltmasters out there, answer me this. is it possible to get a Lowe's 1.5" Sink tailpiece fitted with some sort of something that could hold a .75" stunt blade? Now if there is no way to do that is there anyone out there who has access to some machinery who could make me some adapters for cheap? (I know, Leda, this should be in the B/S/T Arena, but it goes quite nicely with the first part of the post)

you just need to reduce the size of the openning for the blade. there are both PVC and metal reducers that could be inserted (and likely bolted/screwed in place) to make the blade fit. Perhaps if you started with a tube that did fit the blade and worked out from that it might be easier.??

I've tried it all that. The PVC/Metal pieces do not fit together in any fashion. No matter what schedule (pipe thickness). I guess this the thing that's gonna kill my fan flim.

That's how i make my stunt sabers. Try wrapping some of that clear box tape around the smaller pipes so it will get a tight fit then drill a few holes into the pipe and a dowel rod or what ever blade your are using and screw it in. Now none of my sabers are fan film pretty, mine are made to just bash around.

Im not sure if this will help you or not. This is how i was going to add a 3/4" EL blade to mine. You should get the idea. Im sure it could be adapted for what you want. Most of the Saber Sites make machined parts for stunt and other blades, random, RLSA, and SaberShop to mention a few, but i think the adapters are about $30. To save money, you may want to draw up a print, and take it to your towns highschool, if it has a machine shop class, they might make it for doughnuts, my shop did that when i took that class
