Does anyone know where I can get a resin saber of Anakin's EP.III or Obi-Wan's EP.I/II, III? Or if anyone is selling them. My limit is under $50 (per saber)right now and would be grateful if anyone could help me out or point me in the right direction. Thanks.

I'd also be in the market for Obi EP1/2 if anyone have some...
But aside from ebay, I haven't encountered any so far :-(

I know they are on ebay sometimes, but it is hard to come across certain sabers and most of the time the don't sell them individually but in sets of different sabers.

I would consider using Resin props if I had the ability to make them look that good.

Yeah but if painted well enough people don't have to wory about carrying metal hilts and breaking them , a resin prop is also lighter on the belt

I know I've had my resin blaster break...and reglued it...and had it break a few move times.
Probably why I spend my time at gun shows looking for a Mauser so often.

Yes but I'd be more upset at a metal hilt falling and breaking then a resin one

Well if you need a cheap alternative resin is definately the way to go. And I agree with Ky-Wan about it being lighter on the belt. I read somewhere that Ewan McGregor preferred a resin prop because the metal one they machined for him was too heavy and kept weighing the side of his belt down. Now if there were a way to get custom resin props that looked very good, and could be replaced or repaired should anything happen, then resin would be a little more reasonable.

Ky-Wan Zann: If my metal hilt fall it won't break, while a resin one would break.
My custom metal saber (with electronics for the blade) felt from the wall, about 8 foot drop, and didn't break. That's without all the times I droped it while trooping. would it have been resin I would need to buy another one.
This said, I agree I would mind less if a resin one breaks then the metal one. Also, as richardlillard said, its a cheaper alternative.
I am myself in the market for a Obi-Wan EP2 saber in resin. I saw the metal one and 1-its too pricey 2-it seams to weight 4-5 times what my metal custom one weights... :-( if I can just find someone who sells OWK-ep2 resin saber, I'll be happy to use it with my costumes.
