nice... I like the brass accents where they are... they aren't large areas...

Saber will be done by Tuesday. Should be a week or so after that when I get it (gotta go count pennies and dimes now)...

final tweaks underway. Man am I juiced!! had to make a few adjustments from the pic above...but they're for the better I believe. still looks remarkably like my simple drawing above.
AND: I must really say how great Ryan at Randomsabers is to work with! He is busy and sometimes takes a bit to get back to you, but he's top notch all the way!

Green Acrylic blade. saber is about 12" long. A good beefy dueling saber.....time to start practicing.
The back 5" or so is solid to offset the weight of the long blade...I'm hoping for a good balance.

Looking pretty nice! Personally I don't like the LED's, but the rest looks great! Love the pummel!

yeah....the LEDS were a last minute decision....there wasn't enough room for the set up I had intended..

Tonight I placed my order for two different Randomsabers lightsabers. I used two of their existing sabers and added small modifications. I am waiting for a final estimate that will include acryllic blades and covertec clips.

yeah....the LEDS were a last minute decision....there wasn't enough room for the set up I had intended.. Sorry, I don't mean to nitpick, but if it was a custom design (which I know it was) how could there not be enough room? Surely they could've just made it as you'd originally drawn?

Looking pretty nice! Personally I don't like the LED's, but the rest looks great! Love the pummel! I agree about the LEDs. Sort of makes it look like a 3-eyed robot, with a big, red clown nose when it will be hanging from your belt!
I don't agree with his spelling of "pommel" though. Sounds like Justin likes to hit! lol
And what's that projecting piece for, below the emitter shroud? An homage to the bulb release "ears" from the Graflex, or something else?

not in yet...holiday delay. Monday doesn't count towards shipping time and Sunday was an actual holiday.....
as to my design.....it originally called for 5 LEDs in a row...which wasn't practical in the place I had put them. I could have moved them off to the side of the saber but didn't like the look of that set-up. Randomsabers has been bogged down with a special order and Ryan bumped me up on the list (significantly).
