Hey everyone, I have come up with plans for a saber that is based largely on the Obi-Wan apprentice lightsaber (from the Jedi Apprentice books) but it is more of a cross of all of his sabers. I am waiting for the CAD drawings to come from Random, so I figured I would take this time while waiting to come up with a name for the saber. So far I've got nothing. I thought about naming it Clarent after King Arthur's sword of peace, of perhaps Bedivere after Arthur's most trusted and loyal knight (I am into the old legends like that too), but I don't know if I want to use those. Any suggestions here will definately be taken into consideration. I am looking for a name that would mean something and would describe someone like Kenobi.

A good idea might be to look up a word that describes Obi Wan (like "Hero" or "Master" or something like that) in a different language and use that. You never know what you'll come up with. Most people use their Jedi names though I think...

That's a great idea, I am thinking of using his nickname "Negotiator" and perhaps adding a word to it that will also give to the fact that it is a combination of his lightsaber designs throughout the time of his life.

Hey everyone,
I got the CAD plans done for the saber, I am very curious to know what you all think of it. I will be posting a picture of the CAD drawing, along with the name of the saber later tonight. When I post please tell me what you think of it.
