I was able to purchase a collar for my Slave Leia costume, so now I just need to make the chain links. Here is a picture I found of a girl who made some links. What do you think they are? Where could you buy something like this? What are they made of..they'd have to be light weight! I can see that it's just gold craft wire what makes the gold parts...so that will be easy. Please give me your thoughts on where/how/what to make or buy the links. Thanks...I appreciate any help/thought you have ;D

They look like plastic, but I'm not for sure.I can check some of the hobby stores around,we have one costumers store called Cappells in downtown Cincy.I haven't been there in ages.I don't know if they have a website, but I can call them and ask.We also have costume castle.I'll check there too.

I'd say they were plastic bracelets, but they need to come apart so they can be linked together. How about those twisty hair curlers?

Or... plastic tubing with wire inside to hold the shape.

If you wanted a more solid chain you could always get wooden curtain pole loops. Cut them in half, make the chain and glue together again. With a good wood glue they wouldnt come apart again and the joins would be hidden by the craft wires.
