Originally Jorge Garcia was attached to play Harry Knowles, but scheduling conflicts with _"Lost" (2005)_ caused him to turn down the role. Then, Kevin Smith stepped in and was reportedly very enthusiastic, but some last-minute editing for Clerks 2(2006) forced him to step down.

Myself and two others were considering goign to this in costume for kicks. Though my friends wife wouldnt claim him after that...lol
