Hello, I am kind of new to this, and I am curious as to where I can get an Obi Wan Kenobi TPM/AOTC Lightsaber, I would like one that I could modify for an EL setup, I just don't want to go through ebay, or anything like that.
I was looking at Star Fortress, and they have one, but no picture. They have a picture of Qui Gonn's and it looks great if the Obi Wan is as detailed as Qui Gonn's, then I would definately get it.
I also know that RandomSabers does custom machining and I would like to know if anyone thinks he would do one for me.
Any help here I would very much appreciate, as I have already spend countless hours reading numerous forums, and not come up with much luck.
Thanks, Richard

Randomsabers will not duplicate official Star Wars sabers (legal issues). They do make custom designed sabers and modified versions of ones they already have made. Their site is replete with excellent sabers. You could have one made that was close to Obi's with differences.

if you are looking for EL, then you are going to have to either post a 'wanted' thread on one of the major prop boards (rpf) or you are going to have to sit with ebay and keep a good eye out.
I am far from a fan on EL, but as someone who was in on one of the most accurate runs to date of a static hilt, I can tell you with certainty that this is no easy saber to make. If you can find a static hilt for under $300, get it. If you can get a quality EL (Larbel, Parks, DH Studios) version for under $600, you are lucky. If you buy a non quality EL version (not many other options out there), then I caution you to be very careful.
IMO, Larbel is still the best made EL saber version to get - he made the best version that I am aware of, and since they are only available through private collectors and the secondary market, ebay is your best possible chance
Hope this helps you
Dave

Thanks, I will definately keep all this in mind as I shop the market. I don't have to have a full on EL saber, even one with a 3/4" hole in it so I could find a way to attatch a stunt blade to. I would like to either find an EL model, or convert one myself, I would just like to find a nice quality one, I think I will end up watching ebay though, as it is the best chance for obtaining one.
Thanks again, Richard
