I just ordered some tubing from OnlineMetals.com... a 1" tube and a 7/8" tube to fit inside it - I plan on making some cutouts on the outer tube to show some detailing to the inner tube I'm getting... Convenient that the inner tube is 3/4" so I can put a stuntblade in it as well. I'll let you guys know if the tubes are okay... this could be an interesting source for hilt material... I paid $3 per foot though they only offer UPS shipping. I got four pieces and it cost $8 for UPS ground from Seattle to me in SoCal. BUt that's not too bad in my opinion... Next step - buy Dremel kit! They also offer other types too - various steel tubing, copper and brass as well. Could be cool for alternative hilt styles...? Online Metals Website

Ive been reading thats a pretty good company to deal with. Alot of people on the forums use them for alluminum. I had them bookmarked to get parts for the EL blade adapter I was thinking of. And as for the Dremel, I dont know if you have the store Marcs out there, but I got a generic Dremel from them for 12 bucks, with a case and bits. I couldnt see much of a difference, except it seems to get hotter when running it for a long period of time, compared to a real dremel. I wish I still had access to a metal lathe

Hey Lazlo, have you ever been to K&H Metals in Riverside? They have lots of aluminum tubing there. I haven't checked sizes, but they carry a wide variety of items. :-/Jedidad You know I never thought of looking locally... Duh me! I bet they have everything I would want... I just got on the internet and found the place I ordered from. In the end with gas prices soaring to 3 bucks a gallon - it'll probably cost me the same in the end

I ordered from them a few times, never had any problems. In fact, I have a blade at home that needs to move into my Luke ESB Stunt - as soon as the first version sells... Probably just as easy to look local, but sometimes it is easier to shop at 2 am online than at a metal yard Dave
