Ok, These are some sabers I made from things I found around the house. Being PVC, Black Paper, & Elc. Tape. They look a little lame next to some of these home made sabers, but there cool I think. Well Hope you kinda like. Lol. 1. Is made of Pvc, spray painted chrome, with paper as the grips. 2. I call this one, ‘Barbie’ this one I made for my lil sis whoms room is hot pink. Its chrome painted, with a hot pink painted grip, and Elc. Tape main grip. 3. This one I made, for fun.

;D ;D You know VAN-Ness, there is no such thing as a lame prop, only the people with lame minds. I can't tell you how many tears are in some of my props. Not just from being disipointed on how I thought they looked, but not thinking that it was good enough for anybody else. As long as the prop makes you happy, that's all that matters. Each time we build something it makes us a better builder. Don't be afraid to try different ways in making things. There is a lot of variety on these boards to read and learn from. That's how I get some of my ideas, just change them a little some times to fit what you want to do, or can do. I am proud to say that you are part of this community, because without each of us being here doing what we do, this board would not exist. So kudo's to you. NEVER be discuraged in what you have created. I WON'T BE. P.S. Your sabers look great. I await your next project. "MTFBWY".....A and your horse to. ;DJedidad ;D

You took the time to build them ... that is what is important ... you learn by doing, like JediDad said the more you build the better you get.

As long as you like them, and learned things during their creation, that's all that matters The first saber I made was essentially a PVC tube and some .35mm film pots glued together and sprayed, but that got me interested enough to progress to using metal. When I was at my parents house, I had access to professional-grade engineering tools as my dad used to be an engineer, so my first metal saber was incredibly detailed. Since moving out, I've been reduced to using hacksaws, dremels and hand files. The first saber I attempted to make with the tools looked a real mess, but that showed me what I'd been doing wrong, and how to make the limitations of the tools work to my advantage. My latest saber, through careful planning and construction, turned out exactly as I wanted, and is perfect. Unless it is lost or damaged beyond repair, I can't see myself needing to make another

Saber building can be like a disease though.....lol Or like Lays potato chips, hard to stop at one!
I know I keep coming up with new designs I'd like to try making.
I like your sabers, too. By the way Van-ness.
