This is the design for my lightsaber. It's almost all stainless steel except for the leather grip and the button. The rainbow effect is a heat effect with steel. My brother's best friend is a welder and he and my brother are making it: photos1.blogger.com/img/132/7061/1024/lightsaber1.jpg |

That's a nice design, it'll be interesting to see how it turns out when the metal is heated  What is the lower grip section going to be made from? |

I have a demo of the rainbow metal and it looks cool. It was my brother's idea. It will actually be one pipe inside another and the inside pipe will have the rainbow effect. I initially had a bronze tube on the inside.
The grip is going to be made from leather or suede. It may not be blue, but I am going to do that last after I see the colors in the metal effect. So far the only suede colors I've found are brown, tan, black, red, and blue.
