Ahh, that's sounds very cool.
I had done a leather weave around my sabre hilt. It looked pretty good and also helped my grip. I'd like to do that again on the Fury sabre for my Nomi Sunrider costume. It's not 'Cannon, who cares.:-)It'll add charactor to the sabre.

I'm not trying to cast aspersions*, just getting people to think about their ideas and the practicality of executing them. I'm not a perfect craftsperson, myself, I still have a lot to learn.

you were right on the angled grip idea.....they can't do it......I have revised the design and re sent it......fingers crossed......

Three series of revisions later and I'm now waiting for the .cads and making payment arrangements. They are backed up to mid Dec. as of now, but at least I'll know what my Christmas present is!! last revision on the design....  |

OK.
Went with O-rings in sets for the grips.
had to deep6 the Brass due to cost, but the change should look quite nice anyway.
color theme will be mostly silver (some polished;some burnished), some gold and some black
combined styles from OT and Recent films
should have it by mid Dec. or before........
