i wouldint buy a real gernade becasue of the terrorist attcks going on .u now they might think your trying to blow up waterver it is shipped in The only way you can get a "real" grenade is deactivated. I think you would have a 1 in 1 million chance of finding a live frag body, pretty poor odds I think. Now, in my quest for 'real" parts, I would love to have a real frag body - I just have to be patient like I have been with my Luke ANH Macro's, finally have a real Eumig for the base. Dave |

Not really - if it is deactivated there is no chance for it to do anything. Even if it gets "Inspected" they will be able to tell it is deactivated, I think it is hollow anyways so they could see right in. I know it is kind of a mute arguement only because of the chances of getting a real grenade - slim to none. Besides, what is the worst they would say - "What are you doing with this grenade body (if they even can ID it as that)?" "Simple sir, it is the main upper body section for the Obi Wan Kenobi A New Hope Lightsaber" Then you get the "oh my lord, what a nerd..." look from the person asking the questions, and you can look right back and say "no sir, I am a prop geek, not a nerd" Dave  |

short answer to that - it isn't I am trying to get the liquidation stuff up, but I have been killer busy with the real job... I personally hate resin, in any form. I want metal for my replicas. With the Parks bulk order that I am kicking back into gear this weekend (I hope), you can get the whole Obi Saber for $75 plus shipping - if you only want the frag body, I am sure others would take the other pieces  Dave and when is your site gonna open again? |
