There are many ways to learn the ways of the Force, but only those who have joined it may know best.

I've not done a hardware saber in a long time however after seeing this one I think I may have to build one something like it. I like the color because it's different, you did a great job! Thanks for the pictures.

Most of that information is already on the first couple of pages.
If you want to ask him something, I would suggest you PM him, he doesn't post here as much as he used to.

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Hey Lori!!!, It's good to see you around here. I am looking forward to our next meeting. To those interested. It is mostly made of PVC pipe and fittings. There are a few hardware parts on the emitter end and a couple on the other. The activator switch is made of 1/2"x1/2"x1/2" aluminum channel and a calculator bubble panel. The inside of the channel is filled with Sculpy clay and baked hard. Most of the info is in the first couple of pages, but if there are any questions about the construction I will try to answer them as best as possible. Everyone have a great day. 8-)Jedidad

Good to see you around! ;D I know you've been sick, as has your whole household, and that you've been working on certain projects.

I just wanted to show it off one more time. Thanks to everyone who has commented on it, and all the compliments that it has received. Thank You, 8-)Jedidad "May The Force Be With You.....Always"

That looks fantastic Out of curiousity, how have you mounted it onto the plaque? I'm curious as I'm going to have to find a way to mount two sabers on art canvas...

The bracket on the board is like a wide L-bracket but with only metal on the sides that is about 1/4" wide. Kinda like a fork with the middle prongs missing. I bent it so the fork part would face up. I will post a pic tomorrow of the bracket so you can see it. I will try to find a bracket that is not bent for comparison. The covertech nob fits down in it about 2" I did not want it to get bumped off or fall off in an earth quake. More tomorrow Jedidad

Here is the bracket. You have to picture it with the prongs facing out in this pic. Thats what it would have looked like unchanged. I just bent the prongs up to support the saber. Jedidad
