;D ;D ;D ;D Greetings to you all, I have here another saber. Only a close cousin on my mothers side of the family. But worthy of notice. I would like comments please and any suggestions. I really would like someone to give me a good idea on the spacers between the pommel disc's. I really do not like using o-rings because they dry up, break and fall off. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jedidad "MTFBWY"......A

Well if the spacers don't need the rounded edges I would use smaller bits of PVC or flat washers maybe
I do like that design nonetheless...

Sahweeet sabers!!!! O-rings seem to be tops for look and such....have you considered or tried using clear nail polish on them? it would provide a renewable barrier against their drying out.

From the looks of the original picture, I don't think there is anything between the discs, just the same diameter as above them

;D ;D ;D ;D Greetings, Here is an updated photo of my latest hardware saber based on the "Insider" mag. article called. "Grab bag of lightsabers" I hope that you all enjoy. By the way, I decided to use shink tubing for my spacers. I was looking for a better spacer to seperate the rings, but not take up to much room. "MTFBWY".....A ;DJedidad ;D

For just PVC, that's amazing.
What do you use to cut your PVC?

Well, I use a dremel with a cutting wheel for the small stuff. I use a band saw for some of the fittings and I use a chop saw for pipe cuts. I do wood working also as a hobby. It comes in handy for blasters and heavy blaster rifles. Here is an example of a blaster I did several years ago. Enjoy.

Cool blaster. But why does it need two foregrips like that?
That sight doesn't really look "usable" though, with the way it tilts down. Yes, I do know it's just a prop!

Greetings to all,
Loreenshadowchaser!!!!, yes the scope looks a bit odd, it is based on a scope within the Star Wars comic book series. It didn't look like it would work there either, but everyone did as they were told. The two front grips kinda just appeared out of my head. I base this weapon on the droid blaster from TPM, but it sorta morphed on it's own. I ended up building two, for a forum member in Australia. They are a pain in the rear to build. Now Mon-Jas Charan, the lightsaber parts list, I am going to post a list and a tutorial when I am done but I will give you a partial list on Wednesday afternoon Pacific Standard time. I have to recreate the saber with some new parts. I should have a complete list by tomorrow. Sorry for the delay. Well, enough for now. A good evening to all. Plesant Star Wars dreams.
