I need to locate at least a dozen 1.25 inch metal strap loops (aka:Footman's loops) for the two sabers I plan to build. I am having no real luck finding them....any leads?  |

they're not door handles really being only 1 1/4 inches long.
they will be used to bridge the gap between the saber body and emitter as well as providing a sort of guard if you will for the hilt.

The strap loops that you are looking for I have only found at ACE Hardware stores, also on there on line shopping site. I also found them at my local upholstery shop. Good luck in your venture.

Couldn't find any on ACE's Site. Sent an e-mail.
I did find a place here in Brooklyn that has them, but they seem to be wholesale. I have an e-mail to them as well inquiring...................

Hey if you don't have any luck finding these let me know. We have a locally owned hardware store in town that has the reputation of selling everything. So if I can't find something at Lowe's or Menard's, I can usually find it at this place.  |
