here is the first one I made, it's a hardware saber, inspired by luke ROTJ/Obi-Wan ANH. I dont intend on repainting or touching up the look, I like the worn look. Hmm, that's what mine would have looked like had I followed the directions...and the half-moon key's hadn't fallen off...and I hadn't done the recharge ports. And it's really heavy, too.

OK. 'bout time I posted some pics of the $3.00 Sprinkler saber I built (er....am building) for my daughter. be300.org/forum/uploads/post-20-1174701205.jpgI still need to glue those ridged pieces (in upper corner of first shot) to the slender part of the hilt. They are sloped and will cover the change in diameter very nicely.... A slender hilt for a female jedi to be. When I first saw it I was thinking it was a rifle scope.

Just thought I’d share a few pics of another Yoda sized/Padawan saber I made for my nephew. He took it to school and now his gym teacher wants one too…..

Wow Tanthos, that looks really nice. Is it a kit or can you put in a light up blade in it?

Ive been working on this latest one for a fellow board member. Every time he posted new pics of his costume it just kept getting better and better. Sort of inspired me to follow suite. Hopefully it keeps up with the standard of the rest of his costume. On to the pics.

...Sort of Kyle Katarnish?... It is indeed. 'Tis the Qu Rahn lightsabre from the Jedi Knight - Dark Forces II video game cut-scenes. The one that Kyle Katarn finds hidden in his father's house on Sulon early in the game. Master Ul Tor, I'm totally speechless. You have absolutely outdone yourself! A good bit of discussion and many hours of screen-shot studying went into the design, which is entirely Jeffrek's project. I only supplied the cut-scene screenshots, he did the rest. I'd venture it's the most screen accurate Qu Rahn sabre ever posted to the web. It is the only one I've seen with the metal cover plate around the front section. It is also to be fitted with a 5watt green luxeon LED, and a shimmery-silver ultrasabers blade. ;D This will be the lightsaber I wear with my Kyle Katarn costume for CIV and D*Con. Just like the original, which was built and owned by the Master Qu Rahn, and given unto the care of Kyle Katarn, I will be most honoured to be the custodian of this beautiful weapon for as long as I may live, but Master Jeffrek Ul Tor will always be the maker. Master, you have my deepest thanks and respect. ~ Koda "Kyle Katarn" Vonnor See tons of construction progress and original cut-scene reference pix here.

Glad you like it Koda. I may have made it but it was definately a joint effort to get it so close to the game version. Im going to give it the weekend just to make sure the paint has thoroughly cured then I'll send it out to you monday. Meanwhile heres a little something else I finished up today - This is a very small sabre made for a friend of mine who is doing the Atris costume from KOTOR2. She only has small hands so it needed to be small. Just to show how small it is -
