My response (stolen from the other thread... lol)
Nice! looks like a good paint job on the grenade part too. Are you gonna keep it as is, or try and convert it to RotS Obi Wan?

Yeah...two threads LOL go figure!! Yes, I'm actually gonna keep it as is. As cool as the ROTS style look is, I've always been a fan of the calculator bubbles on the side. I saw where a dude on Ebay sells the ROTS conversion piece. I like it as is!!

It is isn't it? Leda, don't you have one similar? Yes, if it's this Parks kit saber... Yes, I have that one. I didn't buy it directly from Parks though... it was someone who probably bought the kits, built them, and sold them individually to make a few bucks. But I did notice that yours has 2 screws in it that look like buttons on the graflex band. Mine doesn't have those... it just has the rectangular holes on both sides. That's a nice touch. It makes it resemble the Obi-Wan RotS saber more closely.

here is the first one I made, it's a hardware saber, inspired by luke ROTJ/Obi-Wan ANH. I dont intend on repainting or touching up the look, I like the worn look.

OK. 'bout time I posted some pics of the $3.00 Sprinkler saber I built (er....am building) for my daughter. I still need to glue those ridged pieces (in upper corner of first shot) to the slender part of the hilt. They are sloped and will cover the change in diameter very nicely.... A slender hilt for a female jedi to be.
