Well I just got back from the doctor. Im at 18 weeks so far and everything looks good. We did the ultrasound and we found out what we are having.
A BOY!!!
I am so very excited!! My husband is very excited and I am just beyond words right now. The baby's name is also picked out:
Gavin Delbert Orion Duncan
Long name yea.. but the middle names are after both our grandfathers.

Hubby talked me outta namen him Anakin.. If we have another boy after this one hes goign to at least have that name as a middle.
Still Gavin is a Star Wars name!! So I still get part of my way... if anyone dosent recongise it I took the name from Gavin Darklighter..

Great news! Congrats!
Gotta love ultrasounds! When Andrew was a baby, they only did ultrasounds if they though there was something wrong. Now it's so routine, that you can even get an 8x10 glossy!

COngrats!!! *a word of caution* Let them take another look in the beginning of the third tri-mester for the sex of the baby. Early on it can be ambiguous and misread. I have two friends who had that problem. One was told "Girl" and had to repaint and rebuy everything when they had a boy! ANother has had 4 children and been told the wrong sex EVERY time!!! (from different facilities even) So be happy, be joyful, pick two names just in case, and confirm it later on. ========== I have three and wanted to be surprised each time. My wife wanted to know for #s 2 & 3 so I left the room. They were correct in our case, but gave us the warning I pass on. ============= Hey same initials as Gavin Darklighter too.........G.D. !!  |

Oh I am sure they will check the sex of the baby again. But they are 99.9% positive it's a boy. I'll probably get another check in 4 weeks right after x-mas. But I am so very excited.. a little boy!!!
