Hi everyone, I'll make this brief, I am Jedi Master An’Joh Zaji, I am new to this board and would like to say hello to everyone on here... I have been weeding through posts trying to find ideas on boots, belts, etc... and finally decided to signup for an account.
I am 21, live in Dayton, OH, and have almost completed my Jedi robes.
I will post pictures as soon as it is all complete.
I would love to talk to all of you and will be checking in here everyday from now on.

Just check the costuming threads under the title of what piece of your costume you need help with....and if you don't find an answer there....always feel free to PM myself or most any of our fabulous Jedi here....

Thanks everyone, I actually heard about you while searching for Jedi Boots on Google... This board came up in the boots section and I looked at everything else and thought "Wow, I'm home!  " Thanks for the kind messages, and as for the Marshmellows, I like them golden brown  Hopefully I can get out to some conventions near my area too, and meet some of you Midwestern Jedis in person. I am Cor-Al Gelkar, also stationed in Ohio... and not too far from Dayton! It's great to actually hear from someone in kind of my own neck of the woods!

I should have a personal website and pictures of my costume and everything up by next week sometime... If you want to think of how my robes and tunic look, think Mace Windu meets Obi Wan, Obi looks with Mace darker brown... that is a good description.
If anyone wants to know what material I am using or anything, I would be happy to tell them.

An'Joh I think the Con in Columbus is $15 a day which isn't too bad. There's a link to the website about it on the Midwestern thread. There's a couple of SW people there going to be there. I hope to go but since I work retail and that is like the busiest shopping weekend, I doubt I'll be able to go  I am in Celina, about an hour north and a little west of Dayton, right on Grand Lake. |
