I found this dress really cheap when Leda and I were costume shopping. She thought it would fit me so I bought it...and it fits great (good eye Leda )!! I thought it was a Ren Fest dress...but look at how fancy the sleeves are. Could it pass for Ren Fest (rich person or royalty). Is it more 1800's or early 1900's? Is it supposed to be Sleeping Beauty? It's handmade. Under the blue skirt it has three fabrics: white in the front yellow (more puffy) on the sides a pink (strange metallic fabric)in the back. Please let me know what you think! Thanks

Sorry, I'm an historical costume snob, so this will be frank. It's a complete mishmash of periods, or "fantasy". I could deliniate which part is attempting to be which period (and even those aren't individually correct) but I'll spare you. And it has a zipper??!!
You could get away with wearing to a Renn fair, but to the knowing eye, you'd be an obviouis tourist. It does appear well made and creative, just absolutely NOT historically accurate.
You also look very good in it.

I like the sleeves worn off the shoulders...
It was really a great find! I'd trust Kai with all her SCA experience. I wasn't sure what it was... definitely not a prom dress! Not with the yellow and pink in the back. Maybe it was made for a play or something.

You could use it for sleeping beauty or 1800's I guess I could never fit into something like that I'm a bit on the Porkins side
