Though not skilled in PS or any other such graphics program I was just thinking it might be nice to have a TJA Temple graphic. ;D Based on the JEdi Temple it could have one spire for each order along with a central dome for the council chambers......  SO...  Is there a Jedi skilled in such manipulations of the Force willing to give it a go? (subject to the Council's Approval of course)  |

Not me, I don't have photoshop. I used to on an older machine but the machine died and there went the program.  The newer program doesn't work on my current computer. For the main Coruscant temple, there's already a picture. 5 Spires, the tallest and central one isand extendtion of archives below it, the other four are a little shorter than the centeral spire. Each of those holds four councils, one in each. Council of reassignment, Council of reconciliation, High Council and Councol of First Knowledge. Were youwanting to make a graphic of that one, or make onea temple elsewhere? |

Anything official for TJA, especially if it uses a LFL image, probably has to be approved by Lucas Film. Them's the rules under which we live.

pose in front of it? using Photoshop, of course. Grannywan's is nice. If we did something like that, in which we design our own version of a temple and don't put any copyrighted logo or names on it, then we could use it.

The Council discussed it and we're fine with you, or anyone with the skills, creating a temple backdrop for our members to use and photoshop themselves in front of. It sounds like a cool idea! We just ask that it not be an image copyrighted by LFL, or use any words like "Jedi". That is copyrighted also. It would be something "un-official" for now. |

Hmmmmm, I did weed the backyard this weekend....
I think that the photos of things that are far back from the person would be easiest to photoshop in since you don't have to do shadows and distant background won't have the same focus as the person in front and they stand out. That's how the RL and 501st pics member pics are done.
If we went with nature or buildings, we could use our own photos. That way we would be sure that there are no copyright problems. There aren't any good buildings around here, but there's the beach. Lots of water and sand looks good, but I admit that it's at best only generically Jedi.

Some beach photos would be nice! I'm sure there are beaches in GFFA...
All the pictures I posted to share here have no copyright issues.... they are all public places and I took the pictures and am sharing them willingly!
They can always be blurred somewhat for background use...
I only ask that if someone figures out how to make money with them, let me know how to do it! ;D ;D

Very nice images. I particularly like the building with the sunburst. This is my favorite local location. Sometime I'm going to do my own photoshoot here. I reminds me of a Jedi temple...either a ruined one or a courtyard  This is our city hall....it reminds me of a grand Naboo building  |

I use Photoshop every day in my job (I'm a graphic designer). I could try and come up with something.
Do you want to have kind of a standard backdrop to put member pictures in front of? Or would this be more for S&G?
