What are YOU thankful for?

With Thanksgiving only a few days away, I'm wondering what everyone on the boards is thankful for. (I'll post last) It's a tradition at my house that as we're eating, we say what we're thankful for as we think of it. It's probably tradition at a lot of houses, but it's always nice to pass something on.

So, guys? What are you thankful for?

Well, besides being thankful that my entire family is healthy now. My 2 grand neices that were battling cancer are both in complete remission. One is 11 and the other is 5.....

.... and I am so very thankful for the Jedi Assembly and everyone here.

I am thankful for many things.

• Life - how I can hang onto it despite myself
  
• God - everybody's best friend - I didn't know that
  
• Good Friends - especially those who stick by me
  
• Star Wars - it gave me a focus away from sadness
  
• Hope - I don't know why I have any
  
• Wit - how I got a sense of humor perplexes me
  
• My Jedi Master - she's taught me a lot (see my sig for details) and is my best friend
  
• Love - it's boundless; it carries me; love is forever (diamonds are a close 2nd)
  
• Physics - it keeps my feet on the ground
  
• Being French - it's cool and it seems to annoy many people. Roulez!
  
• The Tuque - it keeps my head warm... Check out tuques here!
  
• Girl Jedi - because you're all gorgeous in Jedi robes even if you don't think so...
  
• TJA - though Em beat me to it - you all are my family - I love you all!

well, the obvious life, despite the twists and turns i wouldnt want to "live without it" lol.
Also for the star wars genre so i have an outlet to pit my nerliness against.
my family, and everything they have done for me throughout my twenty years of life.
the advancements of science and technology that allow me to talk to you guys....(ie...the internet)
well, and life again, though its a never ending web of of crazyness...it makes it all the more fun

I'm thankful that my wife and I are healthy and that at least one of us has a job. I'm glad I still have both my parents, though I won't be able to see them this holiday. I'm glad I still have my grandmothers, even if one doesn't remember very much all that well.

I'm glad I have my cats, because even if they aren't really listening, I know they're there.

I'm thankful to God for my faith in Him & for loving me enough to send me family, friends, & TJA.
I'm thankful that my Mom seems to be recovering somewhat.
I'm thankful that my Aunt's knee surgery seems to have been very successful
I'm thankful that my health is good enough that I can travel.
I'm thankful for having become positive in my life & being able to live my life as God wants me to.
I'm thankful for my family, friends & TJA family that have given me a reason to want to live my life & continue on, since my beloved husband cannot be at my side anymore.
I'm thankful for Star Wars for saving me when I was so lost after the loss of my husband.
I'm thankful for my Master who helped me when I needed it most.
I'm thankful for all those who I've met this last year while I was traveling & doing events
I'm thankful that my traveling went safely
I'm thankful for so many other reasons

I'm Thankful for most of all Lord Jesus Christ and the new life everyday from Him.My family- immediate and Star Wars-My job'and a free country and the soldiers that are willing to die for it

My last child just got married and moved out and talk about lonely.....something like this could make me start dating again....lol....but like you, I have my pets and they listen to every word I say and I know they understand alot of what I say....and they are always glad to see me..... so I am definitely thankful that they are here.....

I am thankful for:

-God, without Whom I'd still be wondering what the heck I'm here for
-My parents, who are the best ever
-My siblings; my sis for her strength and my bro for his undying enthusiasm for life in general
-My future husband, though I haven't met him yet
-The pet we still have, Buddy the parakeet, whose whistles brighten every day
-That me and my family still have food, clothing, and a roof over our heads
-George Lucas for his vivid imagination
And last but definately not least-

You guys! You're some of the best friends I've ever had.

-deffinatly thankfull for my family and being able to eat a wonderfull feast with them.....it was soooooo good
-i am thankfull for my mother's trifle....the only dessert that no matter how full i am i can alwasy eat more of it....that stuff is like heaven in a bowl
