Grat job Kai, jsut gotta relaxe now.
I found out that yes, I do need tobring some spare costumes for my friend's daughter. NP. I'll make 'em fit.<VBEG> military paking style.
Two more sets of tabbords to go, then I can massage my hand cramps.
Edit: Master Faye Tabbords done. Skipped the Raw silk ones until later. Figured the Faye ones re fully reverasable, they'll do double duty.

Repack suitcase and give serious thought about what to bring and leave behind. There is not as much time to change costumes at DragonCon since there's so much going on.
I MAY get that Hogwarts robe done, but that's an extra.

2)Working On Cheography For Masquerade
3) WOrking On Commercial For Con*Nooga To Be Played At There Table
4) Finishing Sewing On 3 Costumes
5) Packing
6) Working On Some New Lightsaber Moves
7) Getting Interview Times Together FOr saber Idol
8) Finish Tanning At The TAnning Bed
9) Get Full Body Wax!!!!....I KNow kinda weird but those of you that know darth party understand
10) and try to get a little rest cause i know i will get none while i am there

Me, I've still got a bunch of things to do:  - Wash and hang-dry the jedi tunics (yes, they've been sitting in the hamper since CIV -- sue me) - Trim and touch-up the new blaster holster - Take some pix with the full Katarn costume w/ cowboy coat and post to web - Iron both jedi tunic sets - Pack all the props, belts, boots, etc... I'm thinking of bringing my mermaid costume... except I can't walk in it because there are no feet... it's just a tail. The last time I wore it, Oli carried me around.
If I had a Segway (sp?) it would work.
edit:
Scratch that idea... the tail needs lots of repair from being in the attic for 10 years.
I might leave out the sith costume too, so that I can fit the banner stand in my luggage.

FULL body wax. Ooooo<cringe> <Cringes again> <hugh shiver> Gak I don't even let 'em wax my eyebrows. I pluck those since I can control how I tug. DOne right it doesn't hurt.. Geesh, she waxed my brows once, it was fine, but the second time. OOOOWWWW. I also swore.(it takes a LOT to get me to that point. I don't sware at all.) That really hurt. Man, I'd rather get punched than do that again.

I'm still working on my to do list to get it all done:
pack
organize
prep the house or rather the caregivers to do what they need to do
& 10,000 other things I hope get done before I leave my house on Wednesday morning.

LOL! groan.   It looks like the Obi's Angel costume is not going to be... I don't like the way it turned out... it was a rush job... boots don't match, etc... I decided to do something else with it, but for next year! I had to eliminate one costume from the bag so I could fit the banner stand without having to mail it, and the Angel was may least well done, so it's off the list. That's ok, I'll just have to be Obi's dark angel in my Sith costume.  |

I think I got everything together. The suitcases are more or less packed, and I took the long box with the Parks saber and a few other things to the Postnet place. That seemed to be the only way to do it. 2-day delivery is much cheaper than 1-day, but still not cheap. I've never Fed-Exed anything to a con before, but I know lots of costumers who do and I might as well try it out on a relatively easy case and see how it goes.
But no Hogwarts robe for me. I drafted the pattern and realized that there was no way I would be able to make one out of the black fabric I have on hand. I grossly over-estimated how much I had.
