That is so bad! I'm amazed I didn't make the pages at the blonde Padme....

Nothing new. This has been mentioned loads of times. It remains annoying. His comments are cruel, not funny. While some of the costumes aren't that good, many are fantastic. He even had Thomas, The Clone Emperor, in the collection and there is hardly a better costumer/prop maker on the planet! That photo is gone now. The people pictured in the banner are local to me. The Vader is one of the best out there and he is also an excellent costumer. Made a fantastic Darth Maul for the baby pictured (who was a few years older at the time of the Maul costume). Grrr.

Some of the costumes are ridiculous, but most are at least a pretty good start. I agree, most of the comments are mean. Not everyone can afford or can even wear contact lenses (like me) or take off their glasses for a picture. He also seems to think that everyone needs to be thin, 'perfect' lookalikes to the characters or else they shouldn't go near a sewing machine. If that was the case, why do costuming at all? The point of making your own costume is having fun, right?

It's pretty sad to see someone who has to make his fun by insulting others.
I like hanging around here where people are decent and kind. Life's too short for that pettiness.

I agree with al l of you. I can't wear contact either and I certanly am no supermodel, but I enjoy costuming.

I think I remember seeing one of him making fun of himself, too.

He also seems to think that everyone needs to be thin, 'perfect' lookalikes to the characters or else they shouldn't go near a sewing machine. How true..... if that were the case non of us would be costuming...

The majority of those costumes are well above standard. His jokes feel like he's trying to hard to make something funny that really isn't. Meh.
