I know Vader never returned to Tatooine for fear of awakening Anakin. However, I was wondering did he ever returned to Mustafar in the Expanded Universe or anything?

As I understand it...Mustafar became his "summer Home" so to speak. It was mentioned that he may have lived there.

I never read that in any of the EU novels...perhaps it was in comics?

There was an issue in Star wars tales where he did return as part of a trap to eliminate him by Dark Side adapts, the weapon they used against him was a ressurected Darth Maul!
but the battle took place on Kalakar VI not Mustafar....
I know totally irrevelant...

I thought the "summer home" was on Vjun -- but I haven't read a lot of EU, and most of the ones I HAVE read are pre-ANH era. The planet was in "Dark Rendezvous" and I think Katarn had a mission/missions there.
I can't imagine Vader wanting to go back to Mustafar, just as he wouldn't want to go back to Naboo or Tatooine.

The only one I can think of is Bast Castle on Vjun.In fact I think it was originally it was Count Dooku's from Dark Rendevous.I could be wrong.That's where young Anakin Solo finds Obi's lightsaber.The only reason I can think of why Vader to return to Mustafar is to fuel his hatred of Obl-Wan
