Aloha, my name is Keoni and I am the director for the fan film Seven Jedi currently in production in Honolulu, Hawaii. Our ambitious project grew out of a small 15-minute project which has now turned into a 90 minute feature. The film is in essence homage to the old samurai/western films and is a tribute to Akira Kurosawa and George Lucas and other classic adventure films as well.   |

Ok I am a fan of Kurosawa films and in particular Seven Samurai! ;D The storyline is perfect for a band of Jedi protecting a helpless community (moisture farmers perhaps?  ). Anyway- best of success with this project! The pics look awesome! Not too sure about the Jedi with the blaster- is he the rogue of the group like Toshiro Mifune's character? Keep us informed! ;D EDIT- OK I just noticed he has he hand tucked into his inner robe- exactly Mifune's signature move! Well done! |

Yes, indeed! Do you have a target "release date"? Was orignally supposed to be release on 7/7/07 but my mother has fallen ill so we stopped for half a year in late 2006, but picked up again, she's still in the hospital but now finishing the project gives me strength to finish for her. So we should wrap by winter 2007, and release in 2008 sometime. |
