Anyone else having a problem with RL?

The problem I am having is applying for membership with Rebel Legion. I can't seem to submit my application... just keep getting error screen that seem to be site related ('the page I'm trying to access is unavailable', or some such thing). I have been trying off and on for well over a week. Anyone heard of problems with their site?

I had trouble when I went to the "new" site, rebelegion.org. Be sure you are at the OLD site (they are connected, it's a real mess) at www.rebellegion.com/

Be advised that it takes a while for a Jedi to be approved, they have a lot more Jedi applicants than other characters, but only one person to approve them... I missed out on the CIV Group Photo because it took them 7 weeks to approve me... my Padme/Leia friends got in a week!

Patience is a virtue of the Jedi... ;D

In a similar vein, I've had trouble loading "Crazy Old Wizards" for the last few days... I get an error message in English or Spanish (at least I think it's Spanish). Is the site down? I'm working on my new tunic, and there was a reference picture I wanted to go back and print.

Now I wish I had done it last time I was there... rats... I was running out of toner and photos do "eat" a lot of toner!

It has been nuts since C4 what I heard and maybe even worse now that Celebration Europe has completed. Give them time. A Jedi must learn to have calm. So they are having problems so is everyone trust me. I just had to get a new computer so they may have to get a new software or something.

Orion, you were right! Apparently they crashed the server...

I just tried again and this time instead of an error message I was directed to this thread on TF.N --

Maybe with all of this increased interest in Jedi costuming after C4 and CE, we'll have lots of new members.

No, it did not take 2 years. There have been multiple rejections, most recently due to the quality of the photographs of the costume.

Note to anyone applying: the photo of your costume you use for membership application needs to be of good quality and a very boring shot. With and without robe, full body, hands at side, showing the entire costume in a well lit, decent resolution image. This is not the time for fancy poses with lightsaber or photos taken with a cell phone "camera".

Thanks, Kai, for the information. If I can ever get the site to function properly (perhaps a proper roll of the dice?), I will remember to submit an appropriate pic.

I just don't want to miss out on any functions in the upcoming future. I trust you will post news on the Western Order Board, right?

btw, I loved all your different costumes! I still have so much to learn...
