That was back in the old Dr. Demento days. When Weird Al would sometimes come on Dr. D's and the show was only on at weird times on the weekends and it seemed like it would switch radio stations every 6 months.

I remember it well.... That's where I first heard the Yoda song.... Still have a 2 CD set of Dr. D's best too.

Well...it is official.. I am in charge of the costumed participants for Al's performance in University Park IL at the Center for Performing arts on Sept 29th.. but.. right now... all I have is Darth Vader and me in Stormtrooper... the requirement by Al's "people" is a minimum of 6 helmeted characters (they want no faces out there...just buckets) plus a Vader if you can get one.... so... that leaves me a little short... hopefully... I can get a few more "troops"....

Me too... way back in the early early 80s (before Another One Rides the Bus even) on Dr. Demento I've been finding myself singing that...while waiting for the bus to work.

What would also be cool is to have a big group of Jedi out in the audience that light up their sabers when he walks out on stage.....
