Games are fun, we all agree, but in order to keep the boards on topic and conversational, the council has decided to limit the number of games active at a time to two.
Please vote for the game you would like to see remain active in this forum, and the top two will be left to post in. The rest will be archived. If at any time someone has an idea for a new game, a new poll will be taken.
This poll will close on Saturday, Dec 23.

It's too much all at once, and we feel that it would be better to do 2 at a time. Quality over quantity.  When one gets old, or everyone wants a change, A moderator will lock one and a new one can start. |

But we like them all. I dont get how its too much.... its not like we have 20 games goign on.. the 501s forums have many more and noone complains.. Im sorry if I am sounding whiny but i think its very UNFAIR and too controlling...

Another thought.. I understand we have a counciel.. but this club belongs to everyone right? So why not let us decide if these are too much? I know some ppl here are in the 501st and with change thers voting for everyone. Yes this is a smaller group but what happenes when its larger and gets to be like them? If it starts with the games what else is goign to change? I know that with the mods and admin you guys can handel many things. The large events, the t-shirts and other matters.. but why don't we get to decide on this as well? I believe that if were to be like Jedi we are all to be equal in many things as well. The counciel gudes the others but to say this will happen.. Yeah were voting.. to get a choice but whats wrong with them all?? I know for a fact the 501st forums have many of these games and noone cares.. the games are there for everyone to have to play. To spend time and laugh and perhaps let the stress off from the days happenings. These do it for me and I am sorry if you don't understand that. I don't agree with this at all and its making me question many other things here..

I'll admit I like the games, they do challenge me to think. I do not do them all the time. I also have noticed some of the games have been on since I joined TJA so archiving games that have been on for a very long time is a good idea. Everything needs to rest for just a bit.
Maybe a monthly change over of games would be a good idea. That way it keeps them fresh.
Or possibly we could have a game only thread just for fun. This is just a thought.
How many games are we allowed to vote on at once, or can we vote repeatedly, or we vote & the top 2 make it to the playground.

I agree with Leda....sometimes the boards do get overwhelmed with games and such that some of them do get lost in the shuffle and they are still up..... thats the 501st...not us...we are two completely different groups and do things differently... |

But the council is in place to make decisions regarding the group as a whole. The TJA is not the 501st and we do things differently than them. They have a command staff that holds the group together and also moderates theirs message boards as well. Our council, admin and mods are in place to help the group stay together and clean up the boards if needed...by taking off topics that need to be taken off or are redudant in purpose. It is good to have games on the boards, but that is not why we are here. We are a costuming group, organization...not a gaming group. The voting on some topics is necassary to see what is popular and what is not. I understand these games are fun, I have even posted on a few from time to time as well. But as to question what the council does or does not do would be like questioning the upper command staff on their decisions...would you go to the CO or XO of the 501st and ask them why they are doing things? As to what other things are you question here as well? |

Fine everyone chastize me.. Yes I knwo were not the 501st... yes I know about all the dang governing things.. I do like Qui's suggestion.. why not a Thread topic or whatnot just for games. Theres an area for fan-fic.. why not games...
