Had a root canal yesterday.
Not exactly good news there. It was a tough one, took an hour and forty-five minutes for the doctor to do it. But he was careful, got both channels and I have not needed any pain medicine for it. Considering all the root canal horror stories I've heard, that's pretty good. And I can take tomorrow off.

It was on one of the other Tee-shirt-of-the-day sites. It was a TIE Fighter Pilot Pin-Up Girl. If I can find a pic, I'll post it. EDIT: Here it is:

Ani, I guess if one has to have a root canal, yours is a good outcome.

Pulling and tugging and it just wouldn't come out. They had to give more anesthetics and finally the doc had to see other patients while I tried to calm myself. Finally, I focused on calming down, focused on the tooth, and it just popped out by itself! Weird. You could say I really did use the Force there! lol Ani, glad you pulled through

Good news... We registered my son Anthony for his college classes today. He's going to the local Community College for 2 years and then he wants to go to UCF (University of Central Florida). He graduates high school in 2 weeks! Now we just have to buy him a good car so he can drive to school. That's the tricky part.

That sounds like a great plan. Wow, hard to believe he's starting college.

After much discussion over the past ten-years, I finally convinced my godson to start college in the fall. When he received his acceptance letter, he was shocked beyond belief. He carried his letter around for weeks.
And more recently, he nailed a career with "Generous Motors" (GM). Been working a month now and he hasn't stopped talking about it.
