Ok I have to share my happiness that I won three Convention costume awards in a single weekend. Unbelievable! I mean; years of trying and finally... boom!, all at once. -Best Group - Jem and the Holograms -Most Photogenic - karula (Utawarerumono) -7th "Top Ten" - karula (Utawarerumono)
The only time I ever won a 1st place was with a Yoda costume... He IS the Master.

Well, finally got the part for the embroidery machine, so it's working again. Better yet, the Artista 200 that I thought was in need of repair because it wouldn't power on, powered on, turns out, it was cold and just needed time to warm up, glad I tried again before going to the repair shop.

Tigris: Late congratulations on the costume awards. We love pictures. What convention was it? Nova: Glad the machines are running. Aaaaaah, an embroidery machine. One of these eons I might get one; they sound so wonderful, but I don't have a place to put it and wouldn't use it enough to make the price practical.

I got my second cataract fixed last week. Everything went according to plan and I don't have all those cataract related issues. Of course, I'm still legally blind, but that wasn't because of the cataracts. I've just gotten rid of the thing that was getting worse. I am officially old now.

Greetings Everyone, Wow has it been awhile since I've been back here. I feel like I fell off the face of the earth or been in the outer limits someplace. I hope everyone is well. I'm just very grateful I found my way back here again. My Mom is about the same. Lingering. As for me I get to be the lucky one who gets her cataracts done starting on Monday. I at least hope the force is with me & things go as planned. I'm noticing that I do need to get them done. Btw Annie I do believe I'm older than you. lol. I'm always amazed at how well you get around. Nova, an embroidery machine? How many machines does that make that you use? I know you've talked about several when we've talked. I know I should occasionally get myself to Facebk to see what is going on. I think once February & my eyes are done I will attempt to get on more often. My 2nd eye gets done at the end of January. I know that a big part for me is looking forward to Celebration. I've been watching the Rebels & like it. It brightens my spirit when I see it along with watching Clones periodically. Merry Christmas to everyone.

Last semester of college (FINALLY) coming up in February...and my brother, who was recently married, is expecting his first child with his new wife.
Glad to hear about your cataract surgery nearing completion, Jan-Qui!
