I FINALLY got the LIGHTSABRE with the YELLOW blade, I'm at DragonCon and so is ULTRASABRE, they were having a show special, so with all the extra sewing money I got a new, bright and shiny LightSabre!

It appears to be a new style.... I haven't seen it on their page. It has cutouts ("windows") in the emitter sort of like a "crystal chamber" effect.... I've seen it and also Nova's very happy smile. It is a beauty! They have a workshop of sorts going there where they are wiring up sabers on the spot. There are a lot of happy fans at D*C and I'll bet UltraSabers is glad they came.

It's called the Manticore RGB (red, green & blue), after she saw mine, Jan Qui got an Ultra Sabre as well. Very true, I'm grinning from ear to ear!

Hi there, Mon-Jas.
My sister got a part-time job this week. It does not pay all the bills, but after 2 1/2 years of unemployment (it's tougher going when you're 57) and only temporary part-time work, something steady that could turn into something full-time is still a step up.

I won a ebay auction for a used Bernina sewing machine yesterday! My old everyday workhorse machine has been getting more prone to breaking down in the middle of the night, so, it want's to become my back up, and I'm hoping that this will be the case, I got it for a really great price, and it's an older hravy duty machine, came with some nice extras zs well.

Good job on winning the machine! I am giving my Brother Sewing machine a work out after finishing my Luke costume! I am making a winter quilt right now and have begun making the 45 patchwork squares for it.....it's not hard to do, just time consuming! It's from a Civil War pattern I got from a booklet I found in a Quilt store that sells Civil War reproduction fabric. Diana/Daystar

I'll be making a Civil War Great Coat for my nephew soon, he does CW re-enactment, he lives in SC, but his unit is a NH regiment, so I'll be doing the northern version. Somewhere, I have a bag of squares from the many productions of Godspell that I costumed, I've always intended to turn them into a quilt....when I get time!

Is it a Nine patch square or no? I am making a 25 square patch and then a rectangle to go in between that...The Pattern is called "Many Blessings: Amalie's Story" By Darlene Zimmerman...I cant wait to get it done...my house is nearly that old..160 + years....drafty in here during the winter but nice during the summer with the huge trees around here...

Is that the TIE pinup? Oh! The Dewback Rocker - how cute! If I had the money... There are so many cute shirts on these sites like teefury, shirtpunch, etc that's only available one day. I could easily go broke well, I am broke, but that's beside the point
