Although their fighting styles are very close Maul does use Martial Arts, perhaps something that would help him in the long run? Of course if caught by suprise Maul is slow to respond (hence Obi-Wan delivering the final blow so easily). And I don't think Sidious is a racist because he was using the Federation which was run by the Nemoidians he turned them into spratists. Granted he had them killed, but they were the ones in charge of the Trade Federation so he had no real choice but to use them. I think the main reason that Sidious didn't care for any one man or being is that he is a Sith. All he cares about is himself, he used every apprentice he ever had. This is even more apprent in the fact that he was willing to have Vader destroyed by his own son in order to have another apprentice that he could control. He is only out to use something untill something better comes along... anyway, now that we are way off topic... haha.
