I was wondering how they could authenticate this item.
But wouldn't it be cool to know you were once wearing THE Obi-Wan robe?

I saw that, too. Was there a tag on it, I wonder? Was it sitting in the warehouse all this time? Didn someone use it for something else in the meantime? It doesn't look quite right in the picture with the article, though it is the right color. Obi-Wan's robe in ANH had a point on the hood, but you can't tell from the photo.

lol...that robe was a little "moth eaten" in the film....

I read that it had been used in several other films too, as monk robes or something like that. Hmmm...

Yea, I read it was used in "The Name Of The Rose" - with Sean Connery . So Alec Guinness AND Sean Connery wore it. Good movie by the way. They found it in a pile of other robes marked Monks robes, but this one had SWs on the inventory lable. Wish I would have found it  |
