Where did you find it and what is the source for it being the official jedi logo? I'm not questioning that fact, just want the "documentation" (or provinance) It does look like 2 of the symbols in Jedi Magnus' post, all of which are from merchandise at SW.com

Thanks. I'm most interested in this one www.backstreet-merch.com/stores/trustdj/product.asp?item=swar69which is labelled as a "Jedi Starfighter insignia" That's probably not canon (as, in the movie). From a game or graphic novel? That doesn't matter for your use as a tattoo, but I've been searching for other reasons. I really wish there was a canon symbol for the Jedi. I've been using the council floor design... public.fotki.com/Kait/star_wars/host/jedi1.htmlThe fact that these designs are sold as pins in the StarWars.com shop are as close to canon as they can get, I guess. shop.starwars.com/catalog/product.xml?product_id=1625;category_id=313I'm not one to every consider having a tattoo. However, I'd wear a temp. one. One can buy temp tattoo "paper" and make some. For some unknown reason I watched that tattoo show on TV ("something Ink") but what was interesting is that they used colored sharpies to draw very intricate temp tattoos.

I like the simple graphic one, but the starwars.com pins that have "JEDI" on them obviously can't be canon because of the English lettering. The simple graphic resembles the Rebel Alliance symbol, so that would make it a good choice. But even if the Jedi did have a logo, they certainly don't display it very prominently, unless there's some fine print or background details in the last movies that the fans have missed.

Thanks, Seda. Yes, I did make it, sort of. I found the graphic somewhere. Sized it to fit. The medallion is a glass dome and a brass back. Put the graphic in and snap together. So there wasn't much making.

THANK YOU JAREN!! That is exactly what I've been looking for! I'm just starting classes this week so things are a bit hectic, but you will likely see a tatooed Shatir shoulder in the next couple of weeks. May the Force be with you!

I'm getting the Jedi pilot symbol (the lightsabre with wings on the sides) tattooed between my shoulder blades on Oct. 10. I'm so excited!

Nice tat. Did it hurt getting it there?
The tattoo I have is on my left arm. I chose a fleshy place for my first one. I've heard it hurts more where there is less flesh and bones are closer to the surface of the skin.
Here's mine, though it's not exactly "Star Warsy": It represents Duality. Good and Evil, Light and Dark, Jedi and Sith.
Wow, Tigus, I missed yours when I first saw this thread. I decided to get one that I could cover up easily by wearing a short sleeved shirt, if I chose. Yours is not as easily concealed.
I just may have to get the Jedi Crest on my other arm some day!

It only hurt filling in the colour, the lines didn't hurt. I love my tattoo

I saw that design too, but the centre part looked too Imperial for me.
