I've already got next year's alternate costume 90% done (it's not Star Wars related though).  Any X-Men fans here?  Any fans here??? I have started a fan fiction that is turning into a book about one possible avenue for Logan's family.....on going for 4 years now.... hoping to get it published... You can read it if you wish..... |

 WoW!!Leda That one rocks too! how did you do the finger extensions?  Finger extensions are made of aluminum foil (inside) and white medical tape outside. The nails are those plastic fake fingernails you can find at a costume shop. I just trimmed them down a bit. |

Woah... page two again! Can't have that! ;D Doesn't anybody have any last-minute (well. kinda) costumes that they're bringing? I have a new Kyle blaster pistol on the bench myself that I'll post some pix of soon. Darn thing is taking forever. I was actually boiling one of the plastic parts last weekend so I could re-shape it. Fun stuff.  It's the cover plate that goes around the bottom of the barrel. Finally got it shaped and smoothed just about perfect. I'ma paint and glue it all next week then send it off to get a holster made. Hope it's finished by D*Con, if not I'll have to lug the metal beast around for one more con.  ~ Katarn |
