Yes, it was nice--like a king knighting the knight. JMD

The ceremony was nice, though a little obviously borrowed from ordinary knighting rituals. Does this means that the Jedi who came to Naboo at the end of TPM ganged up on Obi-Wan in a dark room and de-braided him?
The dream sequence near the beginning was the most intriguing bit. I think Yoda has his past/future wires crossed.

I am intrigued by the tree. You all realize what tree that is, don't you?
As for the Knighting ceremony, they should've chopped off his head along with the braid. LOL Just kidding. I liked how he sentthe braid to Padme and she put it in the box with the necklace Ani made for her when they firt met.

Ooooooh yes, that's Luke's tree. Or maybe it's Yoda's tree? Or just the Dagobah tree? Anyway, there's a little mixed metaphor pre-cognition going on with Yoda in that dream.

The dream was cool and explained stuff about the tree. But when they were out of the dream I thought the people who drew it gave Ani a big nose.

I thought they gave Qui-Gon a big nose! Karm really fixed on that one thing and couldn't stop talking about it
Karm LOVED the Warhawk-style gunship too. He's really into WWII

I think the art style is a little angular, a subdued cross between Picasso and Ren&Stimpy. Not that anyone is going to suddenly break out a cheesy chicano accent or start eating kitty litter, but it is distinctive.

I liked this episode, though it was the middle of the story, so it doesn't stand on it's own. Anakin gets the award for grossing out Obi-Wan. Yech. It's pretty clear that while Obi-Wan is still smarter, he's really tagging along when Anakin zeroes in on a mission.

YAY! I get Clone Wars now because GL decided you don't need Hyperspace to get to watch CW! But 20 and previous are still off limits, but 21+ are a go for non-Hyperspacers. Cool.

Watched Chapter 21 earlier today on the Cartoon Network website. I was pretty impressed with the picture quality, considering I was just streaming it right off of their website; no real problems with the video getting hung up or anything. I'll be able to watch 22 tomorrow on the site, then 23 tomorrow night! Woo! I was impressed with 21, in all honesty. The dream sequence kind of wierded me out a little bit, and I had to go back and watch it a couple more times. I thought it was interesting that Qui-Gon said it was Anakin's "Trial of Spirit," considering that the Council decided to forego Skywalker's Trial of Spirit. With regard to the art style, I absolutely LOVE it! I think it's terrific, I really do. The Samurai Jack quasi-anime feel is awesome, and I think that the style really lends itself to great action sequences. My only complaint with the art is that Padme looks like...well...a bug. Seriously. Her eyes are WAY too big (even by anime standards!) and her neck is WAY too skinny! Everything else, though, particularly the awesome CG, is great! I'm definitely looking forward to watching all five parts, because it really seems like Tartakovsky and Co. tried to make this an hour long feature that was simply carved into five parts. This allows for more dialogue, more character development, and more action. Plus, they are able to add in the sweeps and wipes and such for scene transfers, which I believe gives the series a true Lucas feel. Like Genndy and his pals said: this is the animation for the crawl for Episode III. How cool is that?!

You didn't need to be a member to watch them last time either. You did if you wanted the higher quality and commentary versions but while they were running the lower resolution versions were free on starwars.com and cartoonnetwork.com. Just like the first season(s) I assume that the new season will be taken off the site and remain become Hyperspace exclusive a couple weeks after their airing. So soak them up while you can, they probably won't last for too long. I'm glad I'm a Hyperspace member, I don't have to worry about not seeing anything. ;D

Watched today's episode. And it's official for me; Obi-Wan may be tagging along as far as Jedi stunts and action goes, but he is DEFINITELY the brains of the outfit.
