i know that but the others are mainly extras, at least jedi and bounty hunters have intresting storys and backgrounds

Well, there is Captain Tarpals, Rep Been and Rep Teers. Aside from that, you have a whole army to choose from, as well as all the Gungans you see Otoh Gunga and the hiding place.

I am sure in Otoh Gunga there are some variations. Besides, someone will come up with a back story for each one that gets screen time eventually.
