I had a weird thought. Ive been reading alot of threads around about makeing an outfit a certain way or not. Thats fine, ..BUT I was thinking, did the jedi have a change of tunics? I'm guessing after a hard mission thier clothes get dirty or even ruined. Was there a basment full of Jawas in a sweat shop laundry? Did they use Nanites to re-stitch holes, clean dirt and dissenfect BO? Was there a futuristic version of fabreeze? Or you think they really had 50 sets of the exact same outfits in their closet back at the temple? (I know monks might) Just a weird thought like, where are the toilets in ships for long space travel trips, hehe

Now that I think about it... :/ PHEW! I would NOT want to be around Anakin or Obi after they spar. Maybe that's the kind of 'spice' cargo shipment Solo dumped...Old Spice! LOL! And if they don't wear it, they smell like Old Mice! ROFLMHO! Sorry...it wasn't THAT funny...

Well, as clothes inevitably get worn with use, like battles on lava planets and all, I wouldn't be surprised that extra clothing would be available. How many cloaks did Obiwan ditch during EpIII alone? Which reminds me... I need to make more tunics and stuff or I WILL be a stinky Jedi

[glow=blue,3,0000]Maybe that's why we haven't seen much of Jedi swimwear? Then again... maybe not. Honestly though, how hard would it be to have the robes in the wash while you do your nightly meditations. Then hang them up to dry while you sleep. I'd only need one set of robes, but I'm a minimalist as far as clothing goes.[/glow]

Humm. I have 4 pairs of pants, 5 under tunics(3 of which I've made) 4 overtunics with tabbords and sashes and 2 pairs of boots and belts. Oh and one over robe, however I may make one that has removable sleeves. That seems to do me well. I can mix/match any of the outfits. I'm sure they've other clothing they can bring on missions that'd suit it.It'd be impractical to bring only the clothing that's suited for Coruscant's cold to a hotter world like Earth for instance.(or some places on earth, others are just as cold as coruscant. )

Now I'm going to have to count Obi-Wan's robes when the DVD of Ep III comes out. I really hadn't noticed. If he loses a robe on Couroscant that's easy; they must have lots at the Temple, in every size and shade of brown. But a missng robe is more of a problem off planet. Maybe Jedi can just use the Force to find them? If Anakin can tell what's on a screen facing away from him with no training at all, then locating things must be a trivial task for all Jedi. Imagine that....never losing your keys; with the Force, you'd always know where they are, no matter how deeply buried in the sofa cushions they might be.
About washing....since we know that they can get soaking wet, fully clothed, and be so completely dry two minutes later that their boots don't even squish when they walk, then showering could be like going into a carwash. Just jump in, get clothes and body clean in one go and step out. I suppose it's nice to change Jedi socks every now and then, but when travelling that may be optional.
